ABOUT EZ Gel

WHAT IS IT?

EZ Gel is an autologous filling serum that takes advantage of your body's regenerative ability to heal and uses it to rejuvenate old skin, treating signs of aging such as wrinkling, texture degradation, and loss of volume.

HOW IT WORKS:

A blood sample is taken to isolate growth factors from the patient's platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). The resulting gel is then injected into the skin to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

EZ Gel is a natural, all-natural filler with no additives. It can be used to treat a variety of areas, including under the eyes, around the lips, and on the cheeks. EZ Gel can also help with acne scars, crepey skin, and hollow under eyes.

  • -Please arrive with clean skin so that we can properly assess your skin and determine where to make injections

    -Drink plenty of fluid 24-48 hours prior the procedure

    -Avoid NSAIDS (ie: ibuprofen), and/or Aleve for 1 week prior

    -Avoid taking St. John’s Wort and Vitamin E for 1 week prior

    -Avoid Retin-A, Tretinoin and Retinoids for 3 days prior

    -Do not drink any alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior

    -Start Arnica tablets the day before treatment

    -No dental appointments 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks following the injectable appointment

  • EZ Gel injections are generally well-tolerated and minimally uncomfortable, with most patients reporting a slight pinch or a tingling sensation. To minimize pain, a numbing agent is applied to the skin before the injection. The provider may also use topical anesthetics or ice.

  • EZ Gel is a non-surgical plasma filler that uses a patient's blood to stimulate collagen production and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It can be used on various areas of the face, including the under-eye area. After the procedure, you may experience minor side effects like redness, swelling, and bruising, but these usually go away within 24 hours.

  • The effects of EZ Gel PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) can last 3–6 months for volume, and 6–12 months for rejuvenating benefits:

    The longevity of the results depends on a number of factors, including: Your skin condition, The area treated, Your lifestyle, and How well your body responds to the treatment. 

    For optimal results, some recommend getting a series of 2–3 treatments, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. To maintain the results, some recommend annual maintenance treatments.

    -Rejuvenating benefits: The growth factors and collagen production from EZ Gel PRF continue to work for 6–12 months.

  • -Avoid touching the treated area: Don't touch, press, rub, or manipulate the treated area for at least 8 hours. 

    -Take it easy: Avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, and heat for at least 3 days. 

    -Protect your skin: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day. 

    -Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help your skin heal faster. 

    -Take pain relievers: You can take acetaminophen or Tylenol for any discomfort or pain. 

    -Use a cool compress: Apply ice or a gentle, cool compress to the injected area to help with swelling, redness, or bruising. 

    -Avoid certain products: Avoid blood thinners, NSAIDs, and certain nutritional supplements for at least 1 week.
